Most of the day was spend dealing with our many plumbing problems. They started yesterday when we realized that there was no main water shutoff in the house. It could only be done from the street. Hours were spend digging holes looking for this mythical shutoff valve. We even ripped up the floor in the laundry room looking for it. At last we called the city to shut off the water at the street while Luke and dad plumbed in a main shutoff valve under the kitchen sink.
They had to tear up part of the floor in the dining room,
and cut out the bottom of my kitchen cabinets to access the plumbing trench.
We also finished gutting the bathroom including scraping off all the linoleum and removing the window.
Tomorrow's agenda:Run new plumbing and electrical to bathroom
Take truckload of debris to the dump
Who knows, maybe we will even install the new tub.
