And so begins the remodeling of the main bathroom.
Gone is the sagging cabinet built around a pedestal sink,
the curving cabinet floor and its associated mold,
and the orange-swan-on-pink-background wallpaper.
In their place stand bare studs,
and walls stripped of fiberboard.
Not all the destruction was isolated to the bathroom. The dining room wall is a casualty of war.
On tomorrows agenda :
Gutting the rest of the bathroom
Adding a main water shutoff to the house.
